Myosin

Myosins are a large family of motor proteins that share the common features of ATP hydrolysis (ATPase enzyme activity), actin binding and potential for kinetic energy transduction. Originally isolated from muscle cells, almost all eukaryotic cells are now known to contain myosins.

Products for Myosin

  1. Cat.No. Product Name Information/Activity
  2. BCC4375 (-)-Blebbistatin (-)-Blebbistatin is a selective inhibitor of the ATPase activity of non-muscle myosin II. (-)-Blebbistatin chemical structure
  3. BCC7195 (R)-(+)-Blebbistatin (+)-Blebbistatin is the inactive enantiomer of (–)-Blebbistatin. (–)-Blebbistatin is a selective inhibitor of myosin II ATPase. (R)-(+)-Blebbistatin chemical structure
  4. BCC7169 (±)-Blebbistatin Blebbistatin is a selective non-muscle myosin II (NMII) inhibitor, promotes directional migration of corneal endothelial cells (CECs) and accelerates wound healing, and better preserves cell junctional integrity and barrier function. (±)-Blebbistatin chemical structure
  5. BCC5425 BTS BTS is a potent inhibitor of Ca2+-stimulated myosin S1 ATPase (IC50 ~ 5 μM) and reversibly blocks the gliding motility. BTS chemical structure
