Two new steroidal glycosides from Cynanchum amplexicaule.[Pubmed: 22587797]

Two new C₂₁ steroidal glycosides were isolated from the EtOAc fraction of Cynanchum amplexicaule. Their structures were elucidated as amplexicogenin D-3-O-β-D-cymaropyranoside and stauntogenin -3-O-α-L-oleandropyranosyl-(1 → 4)-O-β-D-digitoxopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-O-β-D-oleandropyranoside by spectroscopic analysis including 1D and 2D NMR experiments.

Steroidal glycosides from Cynanchum amplexicaule.[Pubmed: 21751845]

Two new C(21) steroidal glycosides with a new aglycone of amplexicogenin B were isolated from Cynanchum amplexicaule Sieb. et Zucc. Their structures were elucidated as amplexicogenin B-3-O-β-D-cymaropyranoside (1), amplexicogenin B-3-O-β-D-cymaropyranosyl-(1 → 4)-α-L-cymaropyranosyl-(1 → 4)-β-D-cymaropyranoside (2) by means of spectral and chemical analysis.

Steroidal glycosides from the roots of Cynanchum amplexicaule Sieb. et Zucc.[Pubmed: 18343471]

Seven new steroidal glycosides (amplexicosides A (4), B (7), C (8), D (9), E (10), F (11), and G (12)), along with six known compounds (cynatratoside A (1), tylophoside A (2), cynatratoside B (3), glaucogenin A (5), glaucoside A (6), and hancoside A (13)) were isolated from the 95% ethanol extract of the roots of Cynanchum amplexicaule (Sieb. et Zucc.). Their structures were determined based on spectral and chemical evidence. Compound 12 has a 14, 15-secopregnane-type skeleton aglycone, which has not been reported in literature.

Two new compounds from Cynanchum amplexicaule.[Pubmed: 18335343]

A new phenolic glycoside, sinapic acid 4-O-beta-d-(6'-sinapoyl)glucopyranoside (1) and a new sucrose ester, 6,6'-di-O-sinapoylsurcose (3), were isolated from the roots of Cynanchum amplexicaule (Sieb. et Zucc.), along with two known compounds, 6-O-[E]-sinapoyl-d-glucopyranoside (2) and sibricose A1 (4). Their structures were elucidated on the basis of both chemical and spectroscopic methods.

Androstane and monoterpene glucoside sinapoyl ester from Cynanchum amplexicaule SIEB. et ZUCC.[Pubmed: 17827776]

A new androstane, 17beta-hydroxy-androsta-4,6,15-trien-3-one (1) and a new monoterpene glucoside sinapoyl ester, (3R)-8-hydroxylinalool 3,8-di-O-beta-D-(6'-O-E-sinapoyl)glucopyranoside (2) were isolated from the roots of Cynanchum amplexicaule SIEB. et ZUCC. (Asclepiadaceae), along with two known monoterpenes, (3R)-8-hydroxylinalool (3) and (6R)-menthiafolic acid (4). Their structures were elucidated on the basis of analyses of physical, chemical, and spectral data.
