Hesperetin 7-O-glucoside and prunin are direct precursors of naringin and neohesperidin, respectively, in C. aurantium , because of the capacity of glucosyltransferase from cell-free extracts of C. aurantium tissues to glucosylate naringenin and hesperetin .[1]
