Atractyodin biosynthesis could be promoted by endophytic fungal elicitor mediated through NO followed by salicylic acid by activating ACC in A.lancea.[1]
Atractylodin and atractylenolide II have a good potential as a source for natural repellents, and atractylodin has the potential to be developed as natural insecticide.[2]
