Doctor detained for calling traditional Chinese medicine ‘poison’

A Chinese specialist who called a well known brand of customary pharmaceutical "toxin" has been confined without charge by police for three months, for a situation that has incensed the nation's medicinal group.Doctor Tan Qindong said in a December article that the well known "Hongmao Medicinal Liquor" was dangerous, inciting an objection from the Inner Mongolia-based medication producer, nearby media detailed.
Hongmao is prominent among the elderly however Tan scrutinized the confirmation behind cases made by the producer that the item could cure ailments including joint agony and coronary illness.
