Protein serine and threonine phosphatase

Protein Ser/Thr phosphatases are a group of enzymes that catalyze the removal of phosphate groups from serine and/or threonine residues by hydrolysis of phosphoric acid monoesters. They oppose the action of kinases and phosphorylases and are involved in signal transduction.

  1. Cat.No. Product Name Information/Activity
  2. BCC2464 Okadaic acid Okadaic acid is extracted from black sponges of the genus Halichondria. Okadaic acid is a non-comepetitive, selective and reversible serine/threonine-specific protein phosphatases 1 (PP1), PP2A and PP3 inhibitor with IC50s of 10-15 nM, 0.5 nM and 4 nM, respectively. Okadaic acid eliminate metazoan symbionts/parasites by apoptosis. Okadaic acid chemical structure
  3. BCC2465 Sal 003 Sal003 is a potent and cell-permeable eIF-2α phosphatase inhibitor. Sal 003 chemical structure
  4. BCC4843 Salubrinal Salubrinal is a selective inhibitor of eIF2α dephosphorylation and inhibits ER stress-mediated apoptosis with EC50 of ~15 μM in a cell-free assay. Salubrinal chemical structure
  5. BCC6481 Sanguinarine chloride Sanguinarine chloride, a benzophenanthridine alkaloid derived from the root of Sanguinaria Canadensis, can stimulate apoptosis via activating the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Sanguinarine-induced apoptosis is associated with the activation of JNK and NF-κB. Sanguinarine chloride chemical structure
