DNA Topoisomerase

Topoisomerases are ubiquitously expressed enzymes that overcome topological problems in genomic DNA, which can result from DNA replication, transcription and repair. Common problems such as knots and tangles are often resolved by topoisomerases.

Products for DNA Topoisomerase

  1. Cat.No. Product Name Information/Activity
  2. BCN4318 Camptothecin Camptothecin (Campathecin) is a potent DNA enzyme topoisomerase I inhibitor, with an IC50 of 679 nM. Camptothecin chemical structure
  3. BCN5986 Celastrol Tripterin (Celastrol) is a proteasome inhibitor which potently and preferentially inhibits the chymotrypsin-like activity of a purified 20S proteasome with IC50 of 2.5 μM. Celastrol chemical structure
  4. BCN2949 Irinotecan hydrochloride Irinotecan hydrochloride is a topoisomerase I inhibitor mainly used to treat colon cancer and rectal cancer. Irinotecan hydrochloride chemical structure
  5. BCC1117 Doxorubicin (Adriamycin) HCl Doxorubicin hydrochloride (Hydroxydaunorubicin hydrochloride), a cytotoxic anthracycline antibiotic, is an anti-cancer chemotherapy agent. Doxorubicin hydrochloride inhibits topoisomerase II with an IC50 of 2.67 μM, thus stopping DNA replication. Doxorubicin hydrochloride reduces basal phosphorylation of AMPK and its downstream target acetyl-CoA carboxylase. Doxorubicin hydrochloride induces apoptosis and autophagy. Doxorubicin hydrochloride inhibits human DNA topoisomerase I with an IC50 of 0.8 μM. Doxorubicin (Adriamycin) HCl chemical structure
  6. BCC7665 Ellipticine Ellipticine (NSC 71795) is a potent antineoplastic agent; inhibits DNA topoisomerase II activities. Ellipticine chemical structure
  7. BCC1192 Epirubicin HCl Epirubicin hydrochloride (4'-Epidoxorubicin hydrochloride), a semisynthetic L-arabino derivative of doxorubicin, has an antineoplastic agent by inhibiting Topoisomerase. Epirubicin hydrochloride is a Forkhead box protein p3 (Foxp3) inhibitor and inhibits regulatory T cell activity. Epirubicin HCl chemical structure
  8. BCC1151 Etoposide Etoposide (VP-16; VP-16-213) is an anti-cancer chemotherapy agent. Etoposide inhibits topoisomerase II, thus stopping DNA replication. Etoposide induces cell cycle arrest, apoptosis and autophagy. Etoposide chemical structure
