Sir 2-like Family Deacetylase
Silent information regulator (Sir2)-like family deacetylases (also known as sirtuins) are a group of enzymes closely related to histone deacetylases. These enzymes can be found in the cytoplasm, mitochondria or nucleus of the cell and are ubiquitously expressed.
Products for Sir 2-like Family Deacetylase
- Cat.No. Product Name Information/Activity
-
BCC7609
AGK 2
AGK2 is a selective SIRT2 inhibitor with IC50 of 3.5 μM. AGK2 can also inhibit SIRT1 and SIRT3 with IC50 of 30 and 91 μM, respectively.
-
BCC5426
AK-7
AK-7 is a selective cell- and brain-permeable SIRT2 inhibitor, with an IC50 of 15.5 μM.
-
BCC2223
EX 527 (SEN0014196)
Selisistat (EX-527) is a potent and selective SIRT1 inhibitor with IC50 of 98 nM.
-
BCC7867
Salermide
Salermide is an inhibitor of Sirt1 and Sirt2; can cause strong cancer-specific apoptotic cell death.
-
BCC6513
SirReal2
SirReal2 is a potent, isotype-selective Sirt2 inhibitor with an IC50 value of 140 nM and has very little effect on the activities of Sirt3-5. SirReal2 leads to tubulin hyperacetylation in HeLa cells and induces destabilization of the checkpoint protein BubR1.
-
BCC2224
Sirtinol
Sirtinol is a sirtuin (SIRT) inhibitor, with IC50s of 48 μM, 57.7 μM and 131 μM for ySir2, hSIRT2 and hSIRT2, respectively.
-
BCC3652
Splitomicin
Splitomicin (Splitomycin) is a selective Sir2p inhibitor. Splitomicin inhibits NAD+-dependent HDAC activity of Sir2 protein. Splitomicin induces dose-dependent inhibition of HDAC in the yeast extract with an IC50 of 60 μM.

BCN1001
Honokiol
Honokiol is a bioactive, biphenolic phytochemical that possesses potent antioxidative, anti-inflammatory, antiangiogenic, and anticancer activities by targeting a variety of signaling molecules. It inhibits the activation of Akt and enhances the phosphorylation of ERK1/ERK2. Honokiol can readily cross the blood brain barrier.

BCN5607
Resveratrol
Resveratrol (trans-Resveratrol; SRT501), a natural polyphenolic phytoalexin that possesses anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, cardioprotective, and anti-cancer properties. Resveratrol (SRT 501) has a wide spectrum of targets including mTOR, JAK, β-amyloid, Adenylyl cyclase, IKKβ, DNA polymerase. Resveratrol also is a specific SIRT1 activator. Resveratrol is a potent pregnane X receptor (PXR) inhibitor.
