METHODS AND RESULTS:
In this paper, we reported ten of them.Structural elucidating was carried by spectrum,they are 9,10,13-trihydroxy-(E)-11-Octade-cenoic acid 1, (6R,7R)-E,E-tetradeca-4,12-diene-8,10-diene-1 ,6,7-triol 2, Taraxerol,Taraxeryl acetate, Friedelin, a-Spinasterol, a-Spinasterol-β-D-glucoside(alpha-Spinasterol glucoside), α-Stigmasta-7, 22-diene-3-one, Vanillic acid, 5-hydroxymethyl-2-furaldehyde.
CONCLUSIONS:
Compound 1 which has PGE like activity was isolated from codonopsis fristly.
