New tropane alkaloids, (+)-(3R,6R)-3α-Acetoxy-6β-hydroxytropane and (+)-2α-Benzoyloxy-3β-hydroxynortropane, from Peripentadenia mearsii (Euphorbiaceae)
Australian Journal of Chemistry,1971, 24(11) 2399 - 403.
Two new alkaloids, (+)-(3R,6R)-3α-acetoxy-6β-hydroxytropane (2) and (+)-2α-benzoyloxy-3β-hydroxynortropane (2-Benzoyloxy-3-hydroxynortropane,6), together with the known tropacocaine (3β-benzoyloxytropane), have been isolated from leaves of the Queensland species Peripentadenia mearsii (family Euphorbiaceae).
