METHODS AND RESULTS:
Nine compounds were isolated from the chloroform-soluble fraction of Curculigo capitulata. Of these, 2,4-dichloro-5-methoxy-3-methylphenol, Curlignan and 4-ethoxy-3-hydroxymethylphenol are new natural products. Their structures were elucidated mainly based on spectral analysis.
