Isodaphnoretin B, a new bicoumarin from Stellera chamaejasme.
Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines, 2006, 4(6):425-427.
To study the chemical constituents of the root of Stellera chamaejasme. Methods: Silica gel column chromatogramphy was used to isolate the compounds, and spectroscopic techniques (NMR, UV, IR, MS and optical rotations) were used for the structural elucidation. Results: Two bicoumarins: 7-hydroxy-5,6-dimethoxy-3-(2-oxo-2H-1- benzopyran-7-yl)oxy]-2H-1-benzopyran-2-one, named Isodaphnoretin B (1) and daphnoretin (2) were obtained from the root of Stellera chamaejasme. Conclusion: Compound 1 is a new bicoumarin.
