Xanthones from Cratoxylum maingayi.
Phytochemistry, 1998, 49(7):2159-2162.
1,7-dihydroxy-, 2,8-dihydroxy-1-methoxy-, 1,7-Dihydroxy-4-methoxyxanthone and the new 7-hydroxy-1,2,3,8-tetramethoxyxanthone, were isolated from the wood of Cratoxylum maingayi. The structure of the new xanthone was confirmed by X-ray crystallography.
