General tips For obtaining a higher solubility , please warm the tube at 37 ℃ and shake it in the ultrasonic bath for a while.Stock solution can be stored below -20℃ for several months.
We recommend that you prepare and use the solution on the same day. However, if the test schedule requires, the stock solutions can be prepared in advance, and the stock solution must be sealed and stored below -20℃. In general, the stock solution can be kept for several months.
Before use, we recommend that you leave the vial at room temperature for at least an hour before opening it.
About Packaging 1. The packaging of the product may be reversed during transportation, cause the high purity compounds to adhere to the neck or cap of the vial.Take the vail out of its packaging and shake gently until the compounds fall to the bottom of the vial.
2. For liquid products, please centrifuge at 500xg to gather the liquid to the bottom of the vial.
3. Try to avoid loss or contamination during the experiment.

Chemical constituents isolated from Polygala japonica leaves and their inhibitory effect on nitric oxide production in vitro.[Pubmed: 18825536]

J Enzyme Inhib Med Chem. 2009 Feb;24(1):230-3.

A methanolic extract of dried leaves of Polygala japonica Houtt (Polygalaceae) significantly attenuated nitric oxide production in lipopolysaccharide-simulated BV2 microglia.
METHODS AND RESULTS:
Five anthraquinones chrysophanol (1), emodin (2), aloe-emodin (3), emodin 8-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (4) and trihydroxy anthraquinone (5), and four flavonoids kaempferol (6), chrysoeriol (7), Kaempferol 3-gentiobioside (8) and isorhamnetin (9) were isolated from the methanolic extract using bioactivity-guided fractionation. Among them, compounds 1-4, 6 and 7 showed significant inhibitory effect on lipopolysaccharide-induced nitric oxide production in BV2 microglia at the concentrations ranging from 1.0 to 100.0 microM.

Protocol of Kaempferol 3-gentiobioside

Structure Identification
Yakugaku Zasshi. 2001 Nov;121(11):817-20.

A stabilized flavonoid glycoside in heat-treated Cassia alata leaves and its structural elucidation.[Pubmed: 11725550]

Heat-treated leaves of Cassia alata were studied for any change in chemical constituents using sun dried leaves as the reference standard.
METHODS AND RESULTS:
A high concentration of a constituent was observed in the heat-treated leaves. Spectroscopic studies revealed the structure of the constituent as Kaempferol 3-gentiobioside, which has not yet been detected in the Cassia species. In a stability study disappearance of Kaempferol 3-gentiobioside was noted in the sun dried leaves while there was little or no change in the Kaempferol 3-gentiobioside concentration in the heat-treated leaves when incubated in an aqueous solution, suggesting a possible presence of enzymatic activities in the sun dried leaves.
CONCLUSIONS:
Therefore, heat-treatment may be a good method to stabilize Kaempferol 3-gentiobioside in Cassia alata leaves.
